We started to create our outdoor lighting scheme about 5 years ago. My spouse and I were charmed by the simplicity and beautiful effect or the outdoor lights of a French restaurant in our town. Since that time we have experimented with many different variations of outdoor lighting designs. Our scheme is a work in progress and it gets tweaked each year. Some years we use a lot of string lights while in other years we use spot lights and twinkly lights. We generally tend to stick to white lights although we sometimes use the odd colored spotlight to great success.
Where to Buy? The good thing is there are many stores and online shops selling lighting for outdoor living spaces. Individuals who are planning to buy lighting for their outdoor areas can choose from a wide variety of styles and designs. Most shops both land-based and online have a catalogue where clients can look at the picture, descriptions and price of each product before making any decisions.
Solar lights are an energy-efficient and eco-friendly option for the garden. They have the potential to save nearly 80 perfect in day-to-day running costs. These lights rely on a solar panel to pick up energy from the sun which is stored in a battery. Most of the lights automatically active when dusk arrives and provide a soft and warm glow.
Styles You Can Choose From. In height, the posts can be anywhere from a foot tall to eight feet tall, and can be either straight up and down, or they can carry designs on them, like a Roman column. The shorter ones can sit upon outdoor shelves or steps. Imagine a flight of steps with every other step lit up. The kind of accent that solar post lights can provide is well worth the money you invest, in that it saves you time and money in the long run, and gives your property the romantic feel that you have longed for.
