Each outdoor area can have its own style. Some houses have large gardens, and then there is apartment living and office space that may have a small courtyard. You will also need to consider where you live, the climate and the space. With so many different lighting options, plants, outdoor furniture and choices, it can be hard to know where to start. Perhaps a good place to start is to break it down in to sections, and really think about the areas you are looking at in terms of budget, usage and size.

The glass-makers of Murano did not just stop at aventurine glass though.
Have you ever considered using Glass block draw light into your home? Many years ago, glass block was used in factory buildings and basements to allow light flowing into the area but still provided some security and privacy. Glass block has been used in showers and windows for bathrooms in higher priced housing. Home owners are only limited by their imagination when considering this durable material.
General lighting is perhaps the kind of lighting that most people are familiar with. It is very simply the most prominent lighting source in the room, very often an overhead fixture. As its name implies, it provides a general, overall source of light for the entire room. These general type of lighting fixtures can be very simple or very ornate, but their first and foremost job is to provide sufficient lighting for the occupants of the room to be able to move around safely.
