One concern for those designing the lighting in an office space is how to make sure that lighting is switched off in a timely manner to ensure that energy is economised as much as possible. Using sensors is one way to ensure that certain less-used parts of work premises are lit only when they are being used. This is not really ideal for office spaces, however, as a CFL lamp or LED bulkhead light fitting that flickers on and off whenever it senses a movement is distracting and very impractical in this type of work environment. Instead consider implementing a timer system so that all lights are switched off at the end of the work day. Lastly, consider implementing spot lighting for each of your employees, so that they can tailor their lighting to their task as they are working at their desks. This can be as simple and effective as a desk lamp fitted with a durable, energy efficient bulb.
LED is have become extremely popular with the enduser trade. Endusers appreciate that LED is are very energy efficient, costing less to buy and only pennies to run, therefore saving them money from the word go. The demand for displays that use LED is seems to be continuing to increase.
