Sensors are the Solution, motion sensors incorporated in lighting is a great idea. Lights of this type are energy efficient and cost effective. Moreover, they do not sacrifice functionality and the security of your family and property. These lights simply come on when there is someone nearby. You can therefore use motion sensor outdoor lighting to safely move around your property at night or to keep bad people away from your home.
Installing even one post light in your yard can invite its own set of problems, such as wiring it, running a power cord to the house, digging a trench for the cord and leaving a scar in your lawn until the grass grows back. Hooking it into your power supply is risky business unless you really know what you are doing. Getting a professional electrician out there might be best, but those guys can charge you a pretty hefty price. And the costs of time and money and rise exponentially as you install more posts.
